All children to be admitted into the Nursery section shall have the registration forms duly completed by their parents; Children will normally be admitted from the time they attain their second birthday and onwards and whenever vacancies exist. When admission is notified, acceptance must be confirmed by payment of the school fees.
Admissions are given in the Primary section through the school's organized own exams; after the exams the pupil can be registered by purchasing a form and by a payment of school fees.
The school terms approximate to the dates given out by the Lagos State Ministry of Education, of three terms in one academic year, from September to July.
One clear calendar month's notice of intention to withdraw a child should be given in writing to the Headmaster. Failure to do this will involve a surcharge or forfeiture of term's fees, in lieu of notice.
Arrangements are made from time to time for educational excursions. Parents will be given ample notice and nominal charges may be made to defray expenses. Parents are encouraged to call at the school to discuss the progress of their children with the teachers and the Headmaster.
The Fountain School opens at 8:00am and closes at 2:00pm from Monday - Thursday and 1:00pm on Friday. There is no school on Saturdays except in special cases and for which parents are notified.
Parents must see to it that their children attend school regularly and punctually. Parents and guardians must ensure that all children are collected from the school before 3:00pm at the latest. The school strongly discourages collecion of children later than this hour and seeks the co-operation of all concerned.
The school uniform is available ready-made from the Uniforms office. All pupils must be in uniform on admission. The cost of uniforms will vary with the size and sex.
› Each child should be provided with the following;
› Mid-day snacks and drinks
› Brown sandals and white socks, a school bag, writing materials (Pen, Pencil, Ruler and Eraser)
› Exercise books are supplied by the school
A list of books to be purchased will be given to the pupil on confirmaton of admission. All the child's belongings must be labeled.
Parents are expected to comport themselves properly and to be civil in all dealings with the school. The school reserves the right to bar violent or abusive parents from the premises or to exclude the children of such.
